Last week I met up with David Scales of Surf Splendor for a conversation about everything from my many exits and returns in competitive surfing to burning journals to the film OUT in the Lineup to the current state of women’s surfing.

Thank you Cori for your thoughtful and candid interview. I am a dad of teenage girls and a lifelong surfer and you answered many of the puzzling details of the surf industry and women . For example why was there sumo wrestling in Leave a Message. I appreciate your ability to see the past , and see what is better in the present and how to make the future even better. I look forward to listening to your interview again with my wife and daughters and having conversation about any of the many topics you take on. Thank you for providing another choice for young women to look up to.
