“There was a lovely feminist TED talk – A Call To Men – where a man discussed his conversation with a twelve year old boy, and the boy said he would rather die than be called a girl. And the man thought, Good Lord, how do these boys view girls, if being compared to them is the worst thing in the world?”
“What did Jesus do, when they put nails through his hands? Did he scream like a GIRL, or did he take it like a man?” – “The Book of Mormon” (the musical, not the holy book), “Man Up”

You people on this site have not changed and likely never will.
The boy said he would rather die than be called a girl. And the man thought, Good Lord, how do these boys view girls, if being compared to them is the worst thing in the world?”
Here is the answer: WE HOPE HE STSTE THAT HE WOULD “RATHER DIE THAN BE CALLED A GIRL” FOR THE SAME REASON you should be insulted if anyone called you A BOY OR A MAN.
If being called A MAN ( or in your case a “Male Pretender / Little Man With A Mission”) does not offend you, then you DO NOT possess one iota of an sense of self worth or womanliness. THEREFORE, for a 12 year old boy to be called a “GIRL” is to insult his natural growing sense of “male ness” and growing true masculinity.
But you are to anti – male to understand that as is Cori.
Good luck : )

This blogged reply to “Dear Daughter…” popped up this morning… I liked it as well.

What an unfortunate state it must be to live in such strict definitions of “man/masculine” “woman/feminine.” I am about as anti-male as I am anti-sunlight, anti-ocean, anti-nature. What I am anti is any ideology/hegemony that relegates the complexities of human beings to sterile little categories.
